Stunning old-world charm in the Hunter Valley

Rosemarie and Dean had attended weddings at the same venues across Sydney. When it came time to select a venue for their own wedding, they wanted something different, exciting and new. Anambah House in the Hunter Valley turned out to be exactly what they were looking for. “It’s such a spectacular venue and definitely one of a kind!”

The secluded property allowed the couple to get creative and create a space where traditional wedding formalities didn’t apply, where everyone could let their hair down. “The venue itself was stunning, from the gorgeous views down to the large hanging chandeliers in The Barn.”

Ahead of their special day Rosemarie admits to having very high expectations but was thrilled when Doltone House surpassed them. She said; “Wow! It’s no surprise that Doltone House has the reputation it does. From the beginning to the end, I could not be happier with the whole process.”

Everyone who attended the wedding were extremely impressed by the quality of the service the staff provided. “During the night, the staff that were present couldn’t do enough for us. They were so accommodating, professional but also super attentive. They are wonderful people that made us, our family and our bridal party feel so well looked after during the night.”

The delicious local produce and menu amazed guests; “In our family food is a priority and we received endless compliments from every single guest. The food was amazing, in quantity and quality. Every dish was cooked to perfection and reflected the Hunter Valley region.”

Their wedding journey couldn’t be faulted: “Our overall experience cannot be measured in words. My husband and I could not be happier with how the night went. There is nothing we can fault…I would recommend this venue to anyone!”
