ROMANTIC AND ELEGANT WEDDING – KRISTYN AND JAMIE

Our couple Kristyn and Jamie first met 8 years ago, but it wasn’t until 3 years later that they became best friends and soon, husband and wife. For Kristyn, the proposal was a total surprise. Jamie had organised a special helicopter ride around the Sydney Harbour and just as they flew over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Jamie popped the question. Of course, Kristyn said yes!

TYING THE KNOT

For both Kristyn and Jamie, elegance and romance were the themes for their wedding day. They married at St. Thomas’ Anglican Church in North Sydney as they fell in love with the sandstone design, which gave off a romantic feel they wanted.

Kristyn was a vision in white as she walked down the aisle in a custom Rhonda Hemmingway Couture gown, and husband, Jamie looking sharp in Alex Goodman.

A CELEBRATION TO REMEMBER

Held at Doltone House Darling Island, the couple hired the help of Noel Nassar Events to capture the “romantic elegance” they knew they wanted.

Styled drapes behind the bridal table gave the couple their own slice of heaven; this was complemented against the breathtaking white roses and lush greenery that styled the bridal and guest tables beautifully.

Kristyn’s favourite part of the styled venue? It was definitely the glamorous crystal cake swing from Chandeliers to Die For.

THE MENU

Kristyn and Jamie gave their guests a memorable experience with Doltone House catering. The 3-course menu began with a delicious mushroom and ricotta ravioli, followed by a roasted barramundi and ending the night with a scrumptious apple crumble parfait.

THE MOMENTS THAT WILL LAST FOREVER

“The whole day was an absolute dream”. Those memorable moments for Kristyn included the look on Jamie’s face as the church doors opened, and not to mention the time they spent together, along with their bridal party, on their friend’s boat around the Sydney Harbour, which they enjoyed as husband and wife.

Kristyn’s advice to future couples is to not rush the planning of your wedding, and to live in the moment and make “some special memories”.
