Following the success of Venuemob’s highly successful Melbourne showcase, we were so pleased to be approached to showcase our Pyrmont venues with an equally impressive event for their Sydney clients.
Based around the theme ‘A Foodie’s Dream’, the evening started on our elevated harbour view deck at Jones Bay Wharf, Pyrmont. Pre-event drinks and mingling under the stars, plus a couple of happy snaps and belly laughs with the roving characters and the Harbour Bridge views.
The first stop on the ‘Foodie’s Dream’ tour was inside Loft. A unique split level event space, which we set up for a delectable wine and cheese pairing experience. The idea? Get people chatting over a universal love for cheese and wine. And that’s exactly what we achieved. Music from Toby J set the mood and the conversation and wine flowed.
Next stop? Heritage Wharf, just next door. Our in-house styling team House of Doltone created a feast for the eyes with two unique event looks. On one side, an elegant design for a gala dinner with white orchid centrepieces and striking purple lighting. On the other side, a casual tropical theme with pineapples and palms.
Then it was on to SoHo, our newest event space at Jones Bay Wharf with a designer fit out from interior genius, Greg Natale. This is where the foodie feast really went down. We treated Venuemob and guests to our famous whole porchetta, accompanied with our premium beverage package and mouth-watering sides. Once again, our House of Doltone stylists assisted in creating a luxury setting for our guests with a rustic inspired theme.
Finally it was time for dessert, but not before we got everyone back on the tour and walked them down to Signorelli Gastronomia at Darling Island. On offer within our uniquely Italian venue with interactive theatre kitchen, was Nutella galore. Crepes, donuts, pizzas, éclairs and pizza all with Nutella! We even organised a live pizza making demonstration – the ultimate Foodie’s Dream.
